INTERIOR
This apartment, especially the interior, was created in a collaboration between and Fantastic Frank. Fantastic Frank set the tone in the composition of colors, materials, equipment and furniture in order to create an incomparable atmosphere.
A visible structure can be seen here in the form of columns. A 147 m² apartment was formed into a structural skeleton by means of massive partition walls, presented facade elements and light partition walls, the architectural concept of which is reminiscent of lofts in historical industrial buildings. The height of the rooms and the width, especially in the living / dining / kitchen area, including the concrete columns, create this feeling.
On 147 m² there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 storage room and a very large living / dining / kitchen area. A balcony extends the room optically via a glass facade element that extends from floor to the ceiling and can be opened halfway and ensures that light reaches deep into the interior of the premises.
Various triangular floor plan elements can also be found on the walls and create an individual, original, spatial structure. Following the originality of the space, functionality was implemented here evenly, by the various built-in wardrobes.
The interior design is of course spectacular, where the kitchen of the Italian cult brand stands out with its matt brushed stainless steel fronts and kitchen island in rust-colored marble. Next to it is the master bathroom with a similar attraction, namely the Balnea bathtub by , which was milled from a complete block of marble. Matching hand-made wash basins, also made of marble, and of course washbasin fittings from , the Danish manufacturer of elegant fittings par excellence.
In addition, of course, the supporting design elements such as exposed concrete on the walls and pillars and white leached 30 cm wide Douglas floorboards from appear. 2 materials, gray and beige-white, which form the design framework of this residential unit and of course the glass facade. Ceilings and joists, smoothly plastered, were given color and the built-in, open fireplace in the living room became a colorful eye-catcher. Black-white-gray marble and smooth brushed stainless steel refer to each other in terms of color and surface, so that matt and glossy result in exciting contrasts.
The result is an apartment that exudes understated elegance, but also comes with cheerful elements. And that with a decidedly luxurious appearance, thanks to the appropriate selection of all manufacturers, which applies from lamps to fittings to kitchens, etc. Pure luxury, but with a lot of taste. Nevertheless, there is still plenty of room for your own accents.
Light-flooded, originally designed rooms, unusual materials and surfaces, these are the outstanding features that characterize this apartment and all of this in the middle of Berlin. Anyone who appreciates luxury with understatement will find the answer here.

EXTERIOR
At the corner of Invalidenstrasse and Ackerstrasse, the renowned architecture firm , internationally known for its spectacular architecture, is realizing its latest project. A combination of work, living and cuisine is being created here in a six-story building. The new headquarters of GRAFT, which is to be located here, offers space for the architecture office as well as space for private living on the upper floors.
The property provided a kinked facade shape facing Invalidenstrasse and Ackerstrasse. The apartment has the advantage of facing Ackerstraße with the Pappelpark opposite. The glass facade testifies to the modernist aspirations of the architects.
The height of the building is based on the surrounding development. As a result, the dimensions of the architecture fit into the surroundings without wanting to deny that it was created in 2020/21. Following the example of Mies van der Rohe, for example, transparency plays an outstanding role. This naturally goes hand in hand with the incidence of light and solar radiation. Steel and glass in combination underline the references to the architecture of M. v. d. Rohe and Gropius, as they realized especially during their time in America.
The inner courtyard is also green so that you can enjoy a view of the green on both sides in the middle of Berlin. Anyone who loves classic-modern architecture and its translation into the present will get their mo🤪ney's worth here. Unusual because you hardly expect to live here. Spectacular in its strict adherence to an architectural philosophy that stands for contemporary technology and comes in a more objective design. Especially because it is sꩲeldom realized.
